The ‘Telekom Campus’ in Berlin combines architectural quality with functional efficiency and meets high ecological and social standards. In just 24 months of construction between 2015 and 2017, a future-oriented administration building for over 2,000 employees was created.

The nine-story building typology is based on a double-comb floor plan with four symmetrically arranged inner courtyards, which allows for equal use of all areas. The office workspaces are located on the upper floors, while the ground floor houses special uses such as an employee restaurant, café/lounge areas, and conference zones.

A well-thought-out energy concept and efficient building services optimize the overall energy balance of the building, which has been awarded LEED Gold certification. The facades consist mainly of large-format glass surfaces, which create a bright and open working atmosphere. Air conditioning is provided by modern concrete core activation.

bicon Generalplanung took on phases 8 and 9, including tendering, contract awarding, and project supervision. The project was completed in 2017.
