Urban Loft Hotel Quartier Heidestrasse

As part of the QH Spring (hotel and residential) building ensemble, the Urban Loft Hotel opens up the Heidestrasse neighbourhood in Europacity Berlin from the south. The strictly structured façade is dominated by the three-dimensional concrete elements in combination with the large window areas.

The authentic materiality of the façade is continued inside the building and emphasises the modern, urban character of the building. The Urban Loft has a total of 180 rooms and a spacious, unconventionally designed lobby with open-plan catering on the ground floor. The industrial look runs through all areas of the hotel as an overall design concept, allowing overnight guests to experience modern Berlin. The spacious roof terrace invites guests to linger and relax.

The Urban Loft as part of the ‘Spring’ building ensemble was built at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, in addition to the usual challenges of large-scale projects, the team had to face additional imponderables and delays that required quick reactions and creative solutions. Thanks to very strong team cohesion at all levels, a high degree of professionalism and well-functioning project communication, the Objetk Urban loft was successfully completed in summer 2022.
