The Überseequartier in Hamburg’s HafenCity, developed by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, is a sub-project in which three city hotels in three different hotel categories are being built together with the project developer B&L Group and the travel and lifestyle group Accor.
After completion, the B&L Group will take over the operation of around 820 guest rooms. With the three Accor hotel brands Pullman, Novotel and ibis styles, the accommodation offer is aimed at different target groups and is the first triple-brand project of its kind at a location in Germany. The excellent location in the first row of HafenCity and the directly adjacent new cruise terminal guarantee a high level of attractiveness for an international audience.
In cooperation with Harro Grimmer from ProjektPuls, we are responsible for the user management of all three hotels. Among other things, the focus is on coordinating the technical and design issues of the tenant and landlord, taking over and furnishing the respective hotels and managing all project participants through to the final hotel opening. The new city hotels with around 400 rooms for the ibis styles and around 170 rooms for the Novotel are expected to open in the 4th quarter of 2025 and 1st quarter of 2026 respectively. The five-star Pullmann Hotel is currently still under construction.
