The Cloud One

Even buildings with an individual design get on in years. Following the demolition of the old building on Schadowstrasse in May 2021, the new eight-storey building will be completed here by July 2024.

The Cloud One Hotel with 157 rooms on seven floors is being built on the Kö-Bogen in Düsseldorf. The hotel will occupy 70 per cent of the ‘JEP1’ building, with retail space being created on the ground floor and first floor for Douglas and H&M Home, among others.

From the hotel’s roof terrace, the view extends over the beautiful new part of Düsseldorf – the ‘Kö-Bogen 2’ with its green buildings, which has been created in recent years – to the theatre and Dreischeibenhaus.

The curved, 4,000 m² glass façade and the inner wooden façade are designed to reduce energy consumption. The roof surfaces and inner courtyard façade are to be greened.
