Neumarkt

We continued our long-standing collaboration with NGV with our ‘Am Neumarkt 40’ project. Together with the general contractor Goldbeck, two new office buildings and a multi-storey car park with approx. 320 parking spaces were built on two construction sites on the former post office site in Hamburg-Wandsbek.

The OST construction site became the new headquarters of Hamburg Verkehrsanlagen GmbH (HHVA), a public company of the City of Hamburg, which is responsible for mobility and lighting on all roads and footpaths. To ensure smooth operations, technically sophisticated workshop areas were set up and the operation of a traffic control centre was ensured in order to guarantee Hamburg traffic around the clock. Special safety requirements also applied here, which were implemented. In addition, an office building for around 250 employees was built on the site, providing an optimal working environment. The supply of e-mobility was also ensured across the entire site.

The WEST construction site was occupied by Coloplast GmbH as the anchor tenant. The Danish company, which manufactures medical products for people with physical disabilities, used the building as its branch centre for the German site. Modern office workplaces with high standards for an optimal working atmosphere were created here for around 500 employees.

The new districts were built in accordance with DGNB Gold criteria and opened for use in spring 2022 and autumn 2022 respectively.

As part of the construction management, bicon was responsible for project supervision and quality assurance, as well as user management, including sampling and the realisation of demanding special requests.
