Motel One Würzburg

The Paradeplatz in Würzburg, located between the Residenz and Würzburg Cathedral, has long been a place that lacked historical appeal. In 2021, a comprehensive redesign began, during which the outdated site was demolished to make room for modern construction projects. Within a year, an impressive new building was erected, which now houses a Motel One and a branch of L’Osteria. The hotel has been welcoming guests since summer 2023.

The project received great support from the city of Würzburg, as it makes an important contribution to promoting tourism in the region. The building complex comprises 234 rooms and follows a well thought-out overall concept that takes into account the limited parking space at the cathedral. Despite these challenges, particular attention was paid to energy-efficient and sustainable construction. Waterbound Real Estate also supported Motel One with this project right through to turnkey completion.
