The Cloud One Danzig

As part of a newly developed quarter in a strategic location, the hotel was designed with stringent requirements for monument preservation. Architecturally, it aligns with the historical canal-style buildings in the surrounding area. Due to its volume and facade design, the hotel gives the impression of consisting of several of the narrow buildings characteristic of Gdańsk’s old town.

This demanding approach results in a variety of individual room layouts. A highlight of the hotel is the light-flooded, airy rooms on the top floor, which are distinguished by their generous ceiling heights of up to 7 meters and large windows. From here, guests enjoy an exceptional view over the rooftops of Gdańsk.

As the project manager on behalf of The Cloud One as the future tenant, WBRE was coordinating the interior finish of the hotel and representing tenant interests at the interface between the developer, the planner, and the general contractor. Due to the complex framework conditions, a tightly scheduled on-site presence was essential, especially in the final phase of the project.
