Contrary to conventional awarding strategies, a cooperative procedure was chosen for the MK3 office building in Munich, which integrates companies into the planning process at an early stage so that technical, scheduling and economic issues in the project can be jointly optimized. Current supply and material bottlenecks could be solved through careful control and cross-trade coordination processes. This made it possible to ensure that the facade would be completed on schedule in December 2022.

The concreting of the clean layer on the approximately 13,000 m² base area started in September 2021. After 15 months of construction, 5,000 tons of steel, 34,000 m³ of concrete and around 3,300 façade elements, the building can be handed over to the main tenant for further expansion in the first quarter of 2024.
