In Munich-Hadern, Ziegler & Ziegler Immobilien und Verwaltung is implementing a pioneering redensification measure that will fundamentally change the district. This initiative combines the renovation of existing buildings with the integration of local recreation areas, nature and public transport connections to make future living particularly attractive. The existing complex, consisting of apartment buildings with 180 residential units, is undergoing a remarkable transformation with the addition of two storeys and 74 additional residential units with spacious roof terraces. An outstanding feature of this extension is the unobstructed view of the Alps from Füssen to Berchtesgaden that it offers residents. The project is being implemented in several construction phases. A special feature of this project is the extensive demolition work required in advance and the effective weather protection during the construction phase. Despite the challenging structural conditions and the fact that the floors below are inhabited, exclusive residential units with a pleasant living environment are being created here using modern timber construction methods.
The project also includes the extension of the existing underground car park in a very confined space. Construction site logistics are being coordinated taking into account the structural conditions.
