In Berlin-Steglitz, the existing commercial building at Schlossstraße 122–125 and Feuerbachstraße 9–11 is being redeveloped. Originally built in the 1950s and continuously modernized over the years, the property is now being converted from a single-tenant model into a flexible multi-tenant concept.
The former main tenant, Peek & Cloppenburg, will reduce its rental space. The vacated areas will be repurposed for a versatile mix of uses, including office space, long-stay apartments, gastronomy, and fitness. On the ground floor, a café with outdoor seating is planned to serve as a public meeting place and contribute to the revitalization of the neighborhood. In addition, two landscaped rooftop terraces will provide attractive views over Berlin-Steglitz.
Despite the extensive renovation works, the Peek & Cloppenburg store will remain open on the ground to second floors during construction. This requires intensive tenant support through dedicated site supervision and tenant management.
Since construction began in June 2025, WBRE has been overseeing the transformation through project management and site supervision. The aim is to deliver a coherent, flexible usage concept despite ongoing operations—one that ensures high quality of stay and a clear commitment to sustainability. As part of the redevelopment, a BREEAM certification for existing buildings (Excellent) is being pursued.
