Located at the intersection of Kurfürstendamm 227–228, Joachimsthaler Straße, and Augsburger Straße, Ku’damm Eck is one of the most architecturally significant buildings in Berlin’s western city center. The former retail and hotel complex was transformed by CENTRUM Group and RFR into a high-quality office and commercial building.
Previously operating as a luxury hotel, the building was fully converted into an office and retail property. The ground floor, first, and second floors — where the textile retailer C&A operates its store — were redesigned and expanded with additional retail spaces, including units for The North Face and dm.
From the third to the eleventh floors, modern and high-quality office spaces were created. The building’s characteristic aluminum louver façade, which defines its visual identity and recognizability, was largely preserved. For the new ground and first floor uses, individual façade elements were redesigned, and the façades along Kurfürstendamm and Joachimsthaler Straße were restructured on these two levels.
